What's NOT in SUNKIS?
SUNKIS is formulated without a range of ingredients we believe have no place in a skin-first product:
- Parabens
- Phthalates
- Silicones
- Drying Alcohols
- Synthetic Dyes
Please note: The formula contains IFRA-Compliant Fragrance and Caramel, a colorant. It is not fragrance-free or colorant-free. If you have fragrance sensitivities, perform a patch test before full application.
Is SUNKIS dermatologist tested?
SUNKIS Self Tanning Mousse is dermatologist tested. Individual skin responses may vary.
Does it work on all skin tones?
Absolutely. SUNKIS is formulated with one universal shade designed to adapt to a wide range of skin tones — from fair to deep. No shade matching required. Simply adjust how often you apply throughout the week to build your desired level of warmth and depth.
How do I apply SUNKIS Mousse?
Apply to clean, dry skin using a tanning mitt or your hands. Work in circular motions, blending evenly across the body. For hands and feet, use a mitt or wash your hands immediately after application to avoid buildup on palms and knuckles. Allow the mousse to dry fully before dressing.
How should I prep my skin before applying?
For best results, exfoliate 4–6 hours before applying SUNKIS. This removes dry or dead skin cells and creates a smooth, even canvas for the formula to develop. Apply to clean, dry skin — avoid moisturisers, perfumes or oils immediately before application, as these can create a barrier that affects colour development.
How often should I apply it?
Adjust how often you apply throughout the week to build your desired warmth and depth. Apply lightly and gradually, allowing time between layers.
How do I build a deeper, darker tan?
Simply increase the frequency of application throughout the week. Because the formula is buildable by design, you can layer applications gradually to deepen your glow without compromising on the natural, even finish.
What results can I expect?
SUNKIS develops a golden, dimensional warmth — not flat, not orange. The result is a luminous, believable sun-kissed glow that adapts to your skin tone. The formula includes humectant and skin-supportive actives such as Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid Complex, Panthenol and Aloe Extract.
Will it look orange or leave streaks?
SUNKIS is designed to develop a warm, golden tone rather than orange. Exfoliate beforehand and apply thin, even layers to support a natural-looking finish. Results may vary with preparation and application technique.
How do I make my tan last longer?
Moisturising regularly is the single most effective way to extend the appearance of your tan. Hydrated skin holds colour for longer. Avoid prolonged soaking in water and harsh exfoliants between applications to maintain your glow.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
SUNKIS is dermatologist tested. The formula contains an IFRA-compliant fragrance and Caramel. If you have sensitive, reactive, or fragrance-prone skin, we recommend performing a patch test on a small area 24 hours before full application. IFRA compliance relates to industry fragrance safety standards and does not guarantee individual tolerance.
Does SUNKIS contain SPF or replace sunscreen?
No. SUNKIS does not contain SPF and is not a substitute for sunscreen. The glow you achieve with SUNKIS is cosmetic — it does not provide any protection against UV radiation. Please continue to apply a broad-spectrum SPF as part of your daily routine.
Can I use SUNKIS on my face?
Yes. SUNKIS is suitable for face and body. Use a smaller amount on the face and blend carefully around the hairline, eyebrows and ears.
